Comments: Hi, My family and I just saw you at the Lowell Folk Festival (twice). We really enjoyed your music and I am now a fan! My young daughters both play violin and I was glad they got a chance to see you and enjoy your music. I'm now listening to "Wishful Thinking" and "Continental Stomp" and telling my friends how great you are. Regards -Gyepi
Comments: I was so sorry to miss you all this year in tha UK. MY girlfriend (Astrid) and I have been addicted to the music of Cowtown for a few years now. You are quite simply the best live band that I know. We couldn't get away this year but we love you. You may remember us as the freaky stalkers from truckfest and larma tree. All the best to Whit and Jake (and Brigitte!). Also, please give Bob Dylan a wedgie if you see him.
Comments: Elana...I can't wait to see you again soon...What you have is truly unique and special...You're absolutely beautiful !!! -Alex

Comments: Elana, It's hard to convey just how much of a blessing and inspiration listening to guys at Cain's the other night was!!! I bought some of your discs and among them was an instructional vid of Whit's. I have played guitar for the last half century but I've never been able to really understand all of the transitional chords until watching the video once through. I stand in awe with your phrasing and beautiful harmony. You're not a hard woman to look at either!!! Come back soon!!
Comments: Please come to the village in NYC and see us! How about the Red Lion or Banjo Jim's or Kenny's Castaways? Ask Bob he'll know ![]() Kbird

Comments: Thank you all for such a fantastic show at The Ark last night! Please don't let it be 2, 5, or 8 years till next time. Ann Arbor needs more Hot Club of Cowtown!
Comments: We were on A Prairie Home Companion a few weeks apart, and the excerpt of you doing I'll Go To The Mountains, and Pray For The lIghts To Go Out was just rebroadcast this weekend. I guess I missed it the first time around. A great tune is that old Wills number! As a Western Swing musician here in the unlikely locale of eastern Maine, I find an understandably smaller audience than in the other 49 states, but here I am nonetheless. I play here with my fiddling son, and occasionally the amazing Matt Glaser, upon whom I am thrusting one archaic western swing tune after another. I teach guitar every summer at Fiddle and Dance at Ashokan in NY, at Western Swing Week, and it comes up every year that your presence there would be most welcome. Keep swingin' and I'll look forward to seeing you in New England sometime. the venerable Junior Daugherty is always there, and not slowing down much for a guy in his late 70's. He's the Real Deal. Love your stuff (Smith?) Good luck , and I hope the trail treats you well. Jay Peterson, Sedgwick, Maine
Comments: Last nite at the Cain's in Tulsa was fantastic! I wish I could leave work and follow you. Can't wait to hear you again.
Comments: Hot Club Of Cowtown played a fantastic show at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa on August 19th, '09. You guys are so much fun.
Comments: I saw the band at the recent Cambridge Folk Festival (in the Club Tent) and I was totally blown away. You guys were the hottest thing at the festival and the atmosphere in such a small venue was quite something. I can't wait to get the chance to see you all again. Keep up the great work! |
